They are a bamboo toilet paper company located in Montreal, Canada who primarly sell their product online. This was a collaboration with a long time friend and ex-Colleague, Maysaa Abi Nader who brought forth her witty humor that was showcased in the copywriting across the brand and logo. The client asked for a quirky, approachable, and bold eye catching design for a new line of bamboo paper, and we delivered! We called this the ‘tattoo sleeve option’ because of how the illustrations were placed on the box to mimic a tattoo sleeve effect. Shenandoa https://rayanel-assaad.com/Shenandoa Sun, 11 May 2025 22:55:52 +0000 rayan-the-assaad https://rayanel-assaad.com/Shenandoa I got the opportunity to do volunteer work for The Shenandoah National Park Trust to create a visual brand identity, as well as implement the new identity on a few new collaterals.&nbsp;The Shenandoah National Park Trust is the official philanthropic partner of Shenandoah National Park, the Trust invests in programs and initiatives which help ensure that Shenandoah remains a crown jewel of the Park Service, an economic driver for the region, and a national treasure for all to enjoy, for generations to come. The challenge was to create an identity that will bring the apparent nature and outdoor feel of the national parks into a more professional and corporate tone of voice. UX design makes you put your design principals to the side and focus on research and data synthesis to create a product that puts your user at the forefront. UI design comes into practice at the final stage but by this point it is hugely supported and backed by a truckload of data that you’ve gathered during your research. The course explored every step and allowed us to get first hand exprience to practice in the real world. Sure, the pandemic limited our ability to do more field work, but we were able to find other tools and methods to complete the journey. Two flavours were designed to align with the branding of the RAW Cold-pressed juices.
